Nobody knows whether Urban Eco Ink (UEI) is an individual photographer or a collective of shutterbugs. There is actually very little known about UEI – although many have speculated. What is known is that UEI has an affinity for capturing both the natural beauty of various locales as well as the contrasting urban scenes of large cities.
Because of the contrast in subject matter as well as styles – ranging from black and white to colour and raw images to filtered edits, one has to wonder if UEI is not in fact photographers with different interests. This much is known – art is meant to create interest and intrigue. Even the works are untitled – is this done to have the viewer create their story or is merely UEI adding more mystery behind their work? While some mystery is good, incredible art is even better. Enjoy the stunning works of Urban Eco Ink.
Style
UEI’s portfolio covers both cityscape images – the urban photography and landscape work – the eco shots capturing the natural beauty of the world. What is eye catching is the varied technical styles used in the photos. Exploring both the power of black and white photography as well as the vibrancy of coloured imagery,
UEI’s works encompass the entire colour spectrum. In some cases more natural and subdued palettes are used to create more of a moody and mysterious feel. Other works are vibrant and even encompass filters, giving the work more of a surreal energy. Regardless, the beauty of UEI’s work is that there is something for everyone.
